What is Indigo Focus about?
Indigo Focus is a market research recruitment agency.
By registering a profile on our website/database you will have access to apply for all our various discussions.
Attend focus groups, in-depth interviews, online surveys etc. and get paid for your opinion.
How do I apply to participate?
You will require an online profile in order to apply for discussions.
Once you have registered a profile, you can visit the project calendar and click on specific projects to apply. You can also follow our Facebook page for updates on new groups and apply via the link in the post.
I am unable to apply
Please ensure you are logged into your profile. You will not be able to apply if you are not logged into your own profile.
How will I know if I am successful?
Should your application meet the criteria of our client, you will be shortlisted and contacted telephonically for back checking. If you do not hear from us you have been unsuccessful for that round, however, you could be contacted at a later stage for a similar project as we have your details on the database from a previous application.

I am struggling to register
It is best to use a computer or tablet when trying to register. Try use a Chromium browser.

I receive an error message when applying for a project
You have most likely already applied for that specific project, as many of our projects are ongoing.
How do I reset my password?
When you try to login to your profile and you are unable to remember your password or wish to reset your password, click “Forgotten your password?” Enter the email address you used to setup your profile.
You will then receive an email in the relevant inbox.
If you do not receive an email in your inbox, the email address you provided was incorrect and was not the email address you used to setup your profile on our database. Please send us an email to info@indigofocus.co.za with your full name, surname and national identification number so we can check if there is a profile on our database. We will reply and provide you with the email address on our database that was used to setup your account. You can then attempt to reset your account again.
If we are unable to locate your profile, we will inform you to create a new profile.
How do I update my information?
After you registered on our database, you would have received an email with a link to click on to update your profile.

You will be able to sign in using your Account Email and Password
From there you will be able to update most of your information with the exception of your name, surname and national identification number.
When do I need to update my profile?
Please ensure you update your profile regularly, especially in the following circumstances?
- contact details have changed
- email has changed – in some circumstances you may need to contact us for assistance
- after attending a group
- your employer has changed
- marital status has changed
- children at home has changed
- banking details and banking products have changed
- where you work from – post lockdown
I am struggling to apply for a group from a Facebook link or an email invite
Please ensure that you have created a profile on our website/database. When you click links provided on Facebook and our invite emails, you will be prompted to insert your Account Email and your Password for your profile. Thereafter, you will only see the questions that pertain to the discussion and no personal information is seldom requested. Complete the application and submit.
If you are struggling to login to your profile, please email us at info@indigofocus.co.za for assistance. Kindly provide screenshots / error messages and include an image of the browser you are using so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
How does payment work?
This varies with every project. We communicate payment methods at the top of the online application, at the end of the submission process and via our Facebook posts.
Cash – usually paid immediately on completion of the discussion, provided you attended for the full duration as specified in our post
eWallet etc. – usually within 24-48 hours of attendance
EFT – usually within 24-48 hours of attendance
The above-mentioned time frames are based on WORKING hours.
Which areas are projects available in?
We do recruitment for our clients all over South Africa. Keep an eye on our project calendar and social media pages for updates on when there is a project near you.
Virtual (online projects) are open to all provinces.
